JA Frate, Crystal Lake,  is recognized as an EPA Smartway carrier.  The photos below show the new Kenworth T800 trucks being used by JA Frate.  JA Frate’s President, Joe Alger recently was quoted saying "the air that comes out of these trucks is cleaner than the air that goes in".   JA Frate  currently has 7 of these units in its fleet and plans on building the future fleet with Kenworth's due to the "clean engine" technology.
