Caroline Berube, Partner, H.L.M. Asia Law & Co., LLC - Caroline graduated from McGill University with a BCL and LL.B. degree and completed her studies at the National Unviersity of Singapore with a focus on Chinese laws. Caroline began her legal career working in Singapore for a French law firm which was subsequently taken over by a British law firm. During that period, she represented international corporate clients and banks in asset-financing and M&A cross-border transactions, traveling to various Asian countries in the course of her work. In 2002, she moved to China to be part of the rapidly developing legal industry there, and joined a Chinese law firm specializing in corporate law. Since then, her career has focused on Chinese corporate law and commercial practice, an area in which she has built up well-respected expertise amongst many European, Asian and North American clients. Caroline is especially well-regarded for advising clients on the Asian legal structure of their companies, based on her sound understanding of the pitfalls and advantages of most Asian jurisdictions.
Caroline has advised clients in various industries such as manufacturing, energy (oil, gas and maining), technology and services. Due to her longstanding expertise, practice and professionalism as a lawyer in China, Caroline has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers. She is also a regular speaker at many international conferences. Caroline is an arbitrator approved by the Chinnese European Arbitration Center.

Michelle Rozovics, Founder and Principal of Rozovics Law Firm, LLC. - Michelle J. From 1996 until 1998, Michelle was a visiting lecturer in law at universities in Katowice, Poland and Nizhni Novgorod, Russia, where she taught courses in European Union law, comparative and international law, U.S. contract law, and legal writing. She was appointed by the Illinois State Bar Association President to the International & Immigration Section Council in 2009, and has helped establish the policies, programs and direction of that section since that time. Rick Pizarek, Vice President & General Manager, Affinia Global Chassis - Rick has the responsibility for Affinia's Global Chassis group which has sales of $250M and locations in the United States, South America, Taiwan, China, and India. He has worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years in various capacities including engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing.
Prior to his current position, Rick was Vice President of Affiinia's Asian office in Shanghai China. From 2007 to 2010, Rick lived in Shanghai and traveled extensively throughout the Asian theatre. During this time, he built a team that started a trading company that sells Affinia's products in China, supported Affinia's worldwide sourcing efforts, and negotiated several joint ventures.
He is a former board member of the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation and held the position of Chairman of the Board from 2004 to 2005. He was also a former board member and Past-President of the Friends of the McHenry County College Foundation Board as well as Past-president and board member of the Board of Directors of United Way of McHenry County.
Rick earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Indiana University. He has lived in McHenry County for fifteen years with his wife and four children.
