McHenry County is seeing some of the strongest manufacturing growth in the states of Illinois and Wisconsin.
According to census figures released in December 2010, manufacturing sales shot up nearly 35 % in McHenry County between 2002 and 2007, second -highest among Chicago's collar counties and just fourth amont 13 counties in northeasstern Illinois and southwestern Wisconsin.
