Not only the success of the 18^th annual MCYSA baseball tournament in Crystal Lake, but the universal acceptance and introduction of the famous Mirai sweet corn from Twin Garden Farms, Harvard, Illinois. This player from the Japanese 15U team along with thousands of others could hardly contain themselves with the arrival of the sweet corn at the 10 day event.  Grilled and prepared by Conscious Cup in Crystal Lake, Illinois the locally produced specialty corn was a big hit with players, families and fans alike.
