McHenry County EDC President

president-pam-cumpataPam Cumpata became President of the EDC in July of 2009.  Pam is a banking and finance veteran in the Chicago area, building her career of over 23 years with financial institutions providing commercial business development and relationship management to companies with revenues ranging from $3 to $250 million.  Her many successes include a record of increasing profitability, strengthening business relationships and providing leadership and direction.  She has hands on experience with asset based lending, collateral audits and wealth management.  Pam received her Master of Business Administration from Loyola University and her BA from Loyola University with a major in Finance.  Pam is also a  graduate of the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management Women’s Senior Leadership program.

In addition to her business background, Pam is a Board Member and Treasurer for the YWCA Elgin, Congregation President at St John Lutheran Church and a committee member with United Way of Elgin.

 

 

 


McHenry County EDC Vice President

Jean Schober joined MCEDC in 2003 bringing to the Economic Development arena her wealth of managerial experience in the not-for-profit and retail business fields and a strong history of working with volunteers. In 2007, she became Vice President of the organization.

A graduate of the University of Illinois/Chicago, Jean has built a solid career in sales, marketing, communications and organizational management. Prior to joining MCEDC, she owned her own consulting business providing sales, marketing, training and office management services to a wide variety of businesses from executive recruiters, to manufacturers. She also created and conducted sales/motivational/training seminars for the cosmetic industry in St. Louis, San Francisco, New York, and Cincinnati and was a twenty year volunteer and proponent of Junior Achievement, a business youth education program.

A believer in giving back to the community, Jean serves on the Board of Directors of Family Alliance, which provides services for seniors, is a commissioner on the McHenry County Housing Commission and remains active in many other civic, governmental organizations in McHenry County.
